These ocean waves sounds were recorded on the summer solstice at morning low tide (June 21, 2011) using the H2 Zoom and a lot of patience, in a remote are of the beach, to minimize external noise. Canaveral National Seashore by New Smyrna Beach, Florida on the Atlantic Ocean was the location for this recording of ocean waves sounds.
I personally use this CD to sleep at night. It plays on my iPod speaker repeating all night long. What I find is that it really helps me to sleep deeper and stay asleep most of the night. If I travel, I always have a portable iPod speaker that I can play this CD all night long. My cat even loves the CD and I notice that when I wake up in the morning, my cat is sleeping right next to me and the sounds of the ocean waves.
